"Energy. It's a word we hear a lot. When I talk to people about managing their energy, I'm not talking about foreign oil dependency or some mystic energy from a new age philosophy -- I'm talking about the energy that you and I wake up with every morning. The energy that we'll use, that powers our attitudes and all of our personal and professional relationships.
Energy is in every member of your family and every person that you work with. It's in relationships and whole organizations. Is it being defueled? Wasted? How can it be refueled and used more effectively? That's where I help. For over 18 years I've been studying personal energy and the way it works to improve productivity, repair relationships, and change people's lives." - Dr. Bob Rausch

| How personal energy works
Dr. Bob defines personal energy as an internal fuel source possessed by individuals that drives their mental, emotional and physical behaviors to maximize performance and productivity. Just as your car has a fuel tank, every individual has a personal energy fuel tank. Everything you do throughout the day will either take energy out of your tank or put energy back into it. When your personal energy tank is full, you feel energized and ready to take on daily challenges. Problems arise when your personal energy level gets too low because your output of energy vastly exceeds your input, or re-fueling, of energy.
Dr. Bob helps businesses increase their productivity by helping their leadership, employees and teams maximize the use of their personal energy and, in turn, become more efficient and productive for themselves and the company. The benefits go beyond the work place as individuals apply what they have learned to their daily lives. Dr. Bob's starting point is helping others be able to answer three key questions when applied to themselves or their work teams.
|
1. What drains your energy tank? External events, people and even your own thought patterns contribute to draining your energy daily. Learning to identify which energy drains are the most taxing in your life or at work is a critical first step to maintaining a positive balance.
2. What warning signs indicate that a person or team is almost out of energy? Every individual responds to dangerously low energy levels differently, exhibiting a variety of behaviors. Dr. Bob helps individuals and teams learn to identify their own unique threshold behaviors.
3. How do we re-fuel? Personal energy is unlimited and renewable once you know how to access it and properly use it to re-energize your daily life. Dr. Bob provides individuals and teams with the necessary tools to help them identify positive re-fuelers that are most energizing to their specific needs.
Whether you learn about Dr. Bob's energy message through his books, workshops or speaking engagements, you will never forget this innovative approach to thinking about your personal energy.
